To ensure every client receives the highest level of service, please review our studio policies below.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Tonya Alexis Studios (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a professional Boutique portrait studio located in Nassau, The Bahamas. These Terms of Service outline the policies, rights, and obligations governing all photography sessions, products, and services provided by Tonya Alexis Studios.

By booking a session, the client (“Client”, “you”, or “your”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms in full.

BOOKING POLICY

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking to secure your session date and time.
Bookings are confirmed only after payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation email or receipt has been issued by Tonya Alexis Studios.
The remaining balance (if applicable) is due no later than seven (7) days before the scheduled session.
If the non-refundable retainer is not received within 24 hours of session booking, the Company reserves the right to release the reserved session date without notice.

SESSION CONFIRMATION POLICY

Your session date will be officially confirmed once your 50% non-refundable retainer payment is received and processed.

If paying by bank transfer, please send proof of payment to hello@tonyaalexisstudios.com to confirm your booking promptly.

We accept payments via:

Debit or Credit Card (in-studio or secure online link)
Cash (in-person, subject to receipt issuance)
Authorized electronic transfer or mobile banking (proof of payment required)

Kindly email or WhatsApp us once your transfer has been made so we can confirm receipt and secure your booking. All payments are final and non-refundable under any circumstances, as outlined.

CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING POLICY

Sessions may be rescheduled once (1) within three (3) months of the original booking date.
Requests to reschedule must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session.
Failure to attend your session (“no-show”) or cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will result in forfeiture of all payments made, and a new booking with payment will be required.
Additional reschedules beyond the first will be treated as a new booking and will require a new retainer or full payment.

LATE ARRIVALS

A 15-minute grace period is permitted.
Clients arriving later than 15 minutes past their appointment time will have the session shortened accordingly to avoid delays for subsequent clients.
If arrival exceeds 30 minutes, the session will be considered a no-show, and payment will be forfeited.
Late arrivals do not qualify for extended session time or additional images.

NO REFUND POLICY

All payments, including retainers, are non-refundable.
In the event of client cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show, no refund will be issued.
Credits may be applied only as stated under the rescheduling policy.

IN-STUDIO CONDUCT & SAFETY

Tonya Alexis Studios maintains a safe and professional environment at all times.
The Client and all guests are expected to behave respectfully and follow the directions of staff during the session.
The Company is not liable for any personal injury, damage, or loss that may occur on studio premises or on-location during a session.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

IMAGE RIGHTS & USAGE

All images, photographs, and digital files created by Tonya Alexis Studios are protected under The Bahamas Copyright Act and remain the exclusive property and intellectual copyright of Tonya Alexis Studios.
By participating in a session, the Client grants Tonya Alexis Studios perpetual rights to use any image from the session for commercial, marketing, or promotional purposes, including but not limited to:
- Social media platforms
- Website galleries
- Print marketing
- Exhibitions and editorial content
The Company guarantees that images will be used tastefully and professionally in alignment with the brand’s luxury standard.
Clients may not alter, sell, or reproduce images for commercial purposes without written permission from Tonya Alexis Studios.

CLIENT CONSENT & MODEL RELEASE

By booking and participating in a session, the Client:

Provides full consent for their likeness (and that of any persons included in the session) to be photographed and used for promotional purposes as described above.
Understands that images may appear publicly and waives any future claims, royalties, or compensation related to such use.
Confirms that they have the authority to grant this consent for any minors or additional persons included in the session.

IMAGE SELECTION & TURNAROUND TIME

A Client Gallery will be delivered via email within 48 hours of the session for selection of final images.
Once selections are received, editing begins, and the turnaround time is 7–10 business days.
Rush editing services (delivery within 48 hours) are available upon request for an additional fee.
No images will be released until all outstanding balances are fully paid.

EDITING & RETOUCHING

Tonya Alexis Studios provides professional retouching consistent with our artistic style and brand quality.
Requests for additional retouching, compositing, or modifications beyond standard corrections will incur extra fees.
Raw or unedited images are not provided under any circumstance.

DELIVERY OF FINAL IMAGES

Final edited images are delivered digitally via secure online gallery link.
Printed products (if purchased) will follow the delivery timeline communicated at checkout.
The Company is not responsible for loss, corruption, or deletion of files after final delivery.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, loss of files, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, Tonya Alexis Studios’ liability is limited to a full refund of the amount paid for the session.
Under no circumstance shall the Company be liable for an amount exceeding the total paid by the Client.

CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY

All client information, contact details, and session data are treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with The Bahamas Data Protection Act.
Tonya Alexis Studios does not sell or share client information with any third party.

FORCE MAJEURE

The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or equipment failure.

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
Any dispute shall be settled in the appropriate courts of The Bahamas.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms of Service constitute the entire understanding between Tonya Alexis Studios and the Client, superseding any prior discussions or representations.
By submitting payment or signing this agreement, the Client confirms full acceptance of all terms herein.
